Before Restoration
The artwork had suffered substantial paint loss in various locations across the surface. This was particularly evident down the right-hand side of the work, though significant cracking was present across the whole surface area. There was also general discolouration throughout, and the frame was dirty and in need of attention.
After Restoration
The final restored artwork and frame came out to an excellent standard. All paint loss and flaking has been completely addressed, and a general cleaning was carried out across the entire surface before the introduction of a fresh protective coating to improve the long-term stability of the work. The finished restoration brings the artwork back to its original condition.
