Chinese Ink Painting
Traditional Chinese ink on paper works regularly suffer from moulding, yellow spots, and water based damage. This particular corporate client was looking to remove stains and yellow spotting prior to the work being reframed and hung in their new offices.
Before restoration
Very typical issues of traditional Chinese ink paintings in Singapore – staining and yellow spotting was evident across the full breadth of the artwork. Various tactics are deployed to help clean the work before remounting onto a fresh backing. We also handled reframing the work and installing for the client.
After restoration
After a thorough cleaning we were able to fully restore the Chinese ink on paper work. As you can see in the images the staining and yellow mould spots have been entirely removed from the artwork.
